If you are "behind" in one or several courses, the two first people you should contact is the instructor in the course you are behind in and your academic advisor. Each instructor has a late work policy (often listed in the syllabus), but regardless of this policy, the instructor may be willing to work with students who are running behind with the coursework.Your academic advisor can help you set up an outline/schedule for how to get caught up in the course as well as guide you how to prevent getting behind in courses. The sooner you contact your instructor and academic advisor, the more time you will have to get caught up.
